Late Colum Herron

The death has occurred of Colum Herron, 30 Glendale Drive, Letterkenny / Fintown, at The Donegal Hospice. Formerly from Fintown. Reposing at his daughter Noreen Mc Devitt's residence in Cabra, Churchill. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 1.00pm at in St. Colmcille's Church, Glendowan, followed by burial in Kilpeck Cemetery, Glenswilly.
House private, please, from 11.00pm until 10.00am. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to Donegal Hospice, c/o Con Mc Daid and Sons Funeral Directors or any family member.


Late Elizabeth McLaughlin

The death has occurred of Elizabeth McLaughlin, Ballyliffin, Donegal. Removal from her home on Sunday, at 12.45pm for funeral mass in the Oratory, Ballyliffin at 1.00pm, followed by removal to Carndonagh Community Hospital Chapel of Rest. Cremation will take place in Roselawn Crematorium, Belfast. No flowers please, donations in lieu, if desired, to the Irish Osteoporosis Society. House private please from 10.00pm to 11.00am.


Late Rev. Canon Sam Barton

The death has occurred of Rev. Canon Sam Barton, The Rectory, Cahir O’Doherty Avenue, Buncrana, Donegal, at Buncrana Nursing Unit. Beloved husband of Sandra and dear father of Niall.  Funeral from his home, The Rectory, Cahir O’Doherty Avenue, Buncrana on Sunday at 3.30 pm for service in Christ Church, Buncrana at 4 pm.  Interment afterwards in St Mura’s churchyard, Fahan.  House private please between 11 pm to 10 am.  Family flowers only.  If wished donations in lieu of flowers to Patient’s Comfort Fund, Buncrana Nursing Unit.  The Lord is My Shepherd.


Late Paul Cox

The death has occurred of Paul Cox, 261 St. Joseph’s Ave., Donegal Town, Donegal. Peacefully at Donegal District Hospital. Reposing at his residence. Removal from his residence on Sunday morning @ 11:00am for funeral mass in St Patrick's Church, Donegal Town at 11:30am with burial immediately afterwards in Clar Cemetery. House private Please
