Naomh Conaill and Killybegs are the two teams from Group B that have progressed to the quarter-finals of the Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure Donegal Senior Football Championship.

In this evening's third and final series of games in the group stages, Killybegs were just too strong for Dungloe and ran out winners on a scoreline of 0-16 to 0-9.

But in the first half, having led by 0-5 to 0-1 Killybegs saw a spirited Dungloe coming to the game and at one point the visitors actually led by 0-7 to 0-6.

However, the sides were level at seven points each at the interval.

Killybegs, though, with Hugh McFadden, Shaun Gorrell, and Evan Broderick to the fore, went on to win convincingly.

Naomh Conaill defeated Sean MacCumhaill's by 0-12 to 0-9 to top the group.

They led by 0-5 to 0-3 in the first half.

Dermot 'Brick' Molloy was involved in many of the Glenties' scores and despite the battling nature of the visitors it was the home side who ran out winners with three points to spare.

There was a lot of pulling and dragging, in a very niggly first half in Davy Brennan Park.

Killybegs P3 Pts 4

MacCumhaill's P3 Pts 2
